Bodacious Knives Panabas Machete Sword | Handmade 32” Carbon Steel Curved Blade | Hunting Camping Survival Sword with Leather Sheath | Rosewood Handle
Description
Introducing the Bodacious Knives Panabas Machete Sword — a handcrafted tribute to one of history’s most feared warrior blades. The Panabas, traditionally used by Filipino warriors and chieftains, is renowned for its wide, sweeping curved blade and devastating chopping power. This modern handmade interpretation brings that legendary design to life in premium carbon steel, built for the hunter, the survivalist, and the serious blade collector.
Spanning 32 inches overall with a commanding 20-inch straightback carbon steel blade, this machete is hand-forged and precision-ground by master bladesmiths in Pakistan. The blade is hardened to 55–58 HRC on the Rockwell scale — delivering a razor-sharp, long-lasting edge with the toughness required for heavy chopping, brush clearing, game processing, and any demanding outdoor task you throw at it. At 4.5mm thick, the blade strikes the perfect balance between heavy-duty chopping strength and clean slicing control.
The 12-inch handle is crafted from premium high-quality rosewood and wrapped with a traditional black cord for a firm, non-slip tactical grip — even in wet or muddy field conditions. A steel cross-guard protects your hand during aggressive use, while the steel pommel adds balance and a clean, finished look. Full tang and hidden tang construction locks blade and handle together as one unbreakable unit — built to withstand the toughest conditions without flex or failure.
Every Bodacious Knives Panabas ships with a premium genuine leather sheath pouch — custom-fitted for safe blade storage, field transport, and impressive display. All orders to the USA are duty and tariff paid — no hidden customs fees on delivery. Whether you’re a field hunter, a wilderness survivalist, or a collector of rare handmade blades — the Bodacious Knives Panabas Machete is a piece you’ll be proud to own and use for years to come.
Note: 100% handmade — minor natural variations in wood grain, cord wrap, and finish are authentic marks of artisan craftsmanship. Each Bodacious Knives Panabas is genuinely one of a kind.

Care Instructions
-
01Oil the blade after every use. Apply a thin coat of mineral oil or blade lubricant across the full blade surface after each use. High-carbon steel reacts to moisture — regular oiling is the most important step to prevent rust and corrosion and keep the blade in peak condition.
-
02Wipe clean after every use. Remove blood, sap, dirt, and moisture with a clean dry cloth immediately after field use. Never leave organic material or moisture on the blade — it accelerates rust and dulls the edge faster.
-
03Do not store long-term in the leather sheath. Leather retains moisture and can cause carbon steel to rust and pit over time. For long-term storage, thoroughly oil the blade, wrap it in a clean dry cloth or plastic bag, and store in a cool dry place separately from the sheath.
-
04Sharpen with a whetstone. Use a quality whetstone — start with 400 grit to restore the edge, then finish with 1000+ grit for a razor-sharp result. Maintain a consistent 15–20 degree angle along the full curve of the blade. High-carbon steel sharpens quickly and holds its edge excellently.
-
05Care for the cord-wrapped handle. Keep the cord wrap dry after field use. If it becomes wet, allow it to air dry fully before storage. Avoid prolonged soaking or submerging the handle. If the wrap loosens over time, it can be re-wrapped with fresh paracord or tactical grip tape.
