THE BLADE — HAND-FORGED DAMASCUS STEEL

The blade is forged by hand from a billet of layered high-carbon Damascus steel, combining 1095 high-carbon steel and 15N20 nickel steel through repeated fold-and-weld cycles at forge temperature. This produces a blade with exceptional strength, excellent edge retention, and the distinctive flowing Damascus pattern that makes every knife visually unique. After forging, the blade is hand-ground to shape, heat-treated for hardness, acid-etched to bring out the full contrast of the Damascus layers, and hand-honed to a razor-sharp working edge.
